Hello, Flames Families! 

We are excited that you will be joining your student and experiencing campus life together during Family Weekend 2025. Please complete this form in order to fully register for Family Weekend. Only one individual per family needs to complete registration; however, they will need to provide information for all guests attending Family Weekend, including information about their UIC student. Registration for Family Weekend will remain open until Thursday, October 8th at 11:55 PM CST.  Below you will find a list and information pertaining to this year's events. The details for all Family Weekend events can be found on the Family Weekend website. The following Family Weekend events are FREE for all registered attendees to participate in and are included within your registration: 

1. Recreation Center Access (all weekend)
2. Family Weekend Bowling Night (Friday, Oct 10)
3. Flames Family Photos (Saturday, Oct 11)
4. Family Weekend Campus Tours (Saturday, Oct 11)
5. Family Weekend BINGO (Saturday, Oct 11)
6. Family Weekend Pool Party (Saturday, Oct 11)
7. UIC Latin American Music Festival Block Party (Saturday, Oct 11)
8. UIC Women's Soccer vs. Drake University (Saturday, Oct 11)
9. Chicago Marathon Spirit Station @ UIC (Sunday, Oct 12)

The following events are featured on the Family Weekend schedule -AND- require tickets to be purchased prior to the event. Tickets can be added as an additional item while completing your group's Family Weekend registration and paid for through the Flames Family Hub. Ticket sales for this event will end on October 1st. See registration for more details. 

I. Family Weekend Brunch

• Cost: $25 per person, FREE for guests under age 5 with the purchase of a brunch ticket
• Date/Time: Saturday, Oct 11, 10:30 am-1:00 pm
• Location: Student Center East- Illinois Room (750 S Halsted St)

The following events are featured on the Family Weekend schedule, but require tickets/reservations through the event's organizers. Please read all the information in order to obtain tickets/reservations. 

I. Hull House Public Tours

• Cost: FREE, requires pre-reservation
• Date/Time: Friday, Oct 10, 2:00 pm
• Location: Jane Addams Hull House (800 S Halsted St)
• About: Take a tour of one of Chicago's most influential spaces and learn more about the legacy of the Jane Addams Hull House, located on campus at UIC. Tours are free to the public but require reservations.

II. Exit Strategy, presented by UIC's School of Theater and Music

• Cost: FREE, but requires pre-reserved tickets (max of 6 per party)
• Friday (10/10) Showtime & Location: 7:30 pm, UIC Theater (1044 W Harrison St) 
• Saturday (10/11) Showtimes & Location: 2:30 pm and 7:30 pm, UIC Theater (1044 W Harrison St) 
• About: Five Chicago public school teachers, their frazzled vice-principal, and a defiant but motivated student take on a failing school system. Fierce, funny, and charged with anger, Exit Strategy follows the motley crew as they band together to save the demolition of their school and regain the optimism and courage they thought they’d lost forever.

To reserve your tickets:

2. Select “Get Tickets”
3. Select date and showtime
4. Enter the promo code Family and reserve tickets (max of 6 per party)
5. Select Checkout and complete the reservation

Quantities of tickets available vary by date and showtime. If your party is no longer able to attend your showtime, please email Neal McCollam at nealmac@uic.edu to cancel your reservation.

III. Chicago Marathon Spirit Station @ UIC

• Cost: FREE, but requires pre-registration
• Time: 6:15 am-2:30 pm
• Location: Student Recreation Facility (737 S Halsted St)
• About: Join Student Recreation and Wellbeing and Student Leadership and Civic Engagement between mile markers 17 to 18 and FIRE UP this year’s Chicago Marathon runners.
